Tossed Out Treasures 2026
Tossed Out Treasures, The Sandy Springs Society's longest-running fundraiser, supports the green movement and environment by selling gently used upscale items that are donated each year by members of the Society and the community at large, and the event serves as the ultimate guilt-free shopping experience. Since 1992, Tossed Out Treasures has focused on reselling, reusing and "repurposing" designer clothing, high-end accessories, jewelry, antiques, books, household items, and more. At the conclusion of the sale, any unsold merchandise is donated to charities.
The event begins with a preview party that is open to the public. For an entry fee, collectors and shoppers can browse, enjoy a festive dinner and have first dibs on the thousands of treasures that await the savvy shopper.

Do's and Don'ts of Donating Your Treasures
We love Treasures!
Drop-Off Do’s A BIG YES
- Art (No mold or water damage)
- Baby equipment, children’s toys, games and gently worn baby and toddler clothing
- Books for adults & children in good condition
- Clothing: Women’s and Men’s – MUST be on hangers (clean and in good condition, NO tears, stains, or missing buttons
- Women’s Accessories including jewelry, purses, scarves, hats, gloves, and shoes
- Electronics – Laptops, IPads, Flat Screen TV’s, DVD, VCR and Blu-Ray players, and Stereo speakers- All in working condition
- Furniture and Rugs- NO stains including pet stains on upholstered pieces and rugs
- Linens (Clean with NO Label sizes of all sheet sets, comforters, and tablecloths)
- Kitchenware, Silver, China, Crystal, and Barware (NO cracks or chips)
- Small Appliances and Lamps in working order
- Home Décor (Clean) and Holiday (NO oversize decorations due to limited display space)
- Garden Accessories items- (Pots cleaned and have NO chips)
- Sports Memorabilia, especially local teams
Drop-off Don’ts A PLEASE, NO
- NO office furniture, oversize couches, particle board furniture, hide-away beds or armoires
- NO Large or Extra-large mirrors or mirrors meant to be attached to furniture
- NO Desktop Computers, Fax machines, old printers, old TV’s and monitors or cordless phone sets
- NO Mattresses of any kind, bed pillows or curtain valences
- NO Pajamas, robes, intimates, swimsuits or printed T-shirts
- NO Clear vases, chandeliers, light fixtures OR Christmas tree stands
- NO Paperbacks, Encyclopedias, Textbooks, Medical Books or Dictionaries
- NO Medical or Exercise Equipment
- NO Empty frames smaller than 8 X 10
